If the damn yankees were going to lose in the first round then why bother winning the East?? I'm real sick and tired of watching talented Yankees squads roll their helmets on the field and expect to win. The shit's absolutely GOT to stop!
The tigers are a good team and all, but under 0 circumstances should the Yankees have been rolled up by them like that, ZERO.
This offseason needs to be devoted to one thing and one thing only: PITCHING. And with Torre almost getting fired I would imagine that the motivation problem will be solved as well.
At least the Yanks made the playoffs, which is more than Sox fans can say for that sorry bunch...
